Create Your Own Art Work

Since you have access to a computer you can
create and send us your own art work. We can utilize the art work you have
created and produce vinyl graphics and lettering. Please review the guidelines
below before you send your files.
Vinyl Cut Graphics and Lettering Format
 |
Straight Line Graphics uses PC not Mac. We
can convert Mac format, however at times this process can cause some file
loss. If possible please save your files in a PC format before sending. |

In order to produce computer cut graphics and
lettering, we must have vector line art. If you do not have the ability to
send vector line art work a bitmap will work, however we must then convert
your art work to vector line. This process will require art time with a minimum
fee of $ 25.00. Since each request for graphics and lettering is custom and
unique in itself after viewing your graphics we will provide a quote for
the art time required. |

Corel Draw (CDR) and Adobe Illustrator (AI)
produce vector line art work and are ready for production of your
custom graphics. This format will save both time and the added expense you
will encounter since you will not be charged for art time. |

Please make sure you export all text as
curves is you send vector line art to ensure the we get the correct
typestyle. We may not have the exact font you have used. |

If you have more than one file to send, you
van ZIP them or just email the files as an attachment. |
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: When sending a
file to us, it is necessary to provide a printout of the design, this helps
us to know what the finished product should look like.
Large Format Prints and printed decals
If your are sending files for Large format
prints or printed decals, please use the following programs. To save time please
save your files using the versions we use. We can open your files with the
version (s) we are currently using or a lower version, however a higher version
we can not open. When requesting large format printing or printed decals, the
process is much different. We do not need vector line art work. Simply think as
your prints being printed on a very large printer. If you can print your art
work on your printer we will be able to print on ours. Color match is always a
challenge, a perfect match is not possible since all monitors
will display colors differently. To lesson the challenge provide PMS
colors with your request and we will attempt to make the closest color match.
